I woke up at 3am this morning because the tank just didn't sound right. We'll it wasn't draining right, the water was about to overflow the top of the tank and I didn't know why. Well I took apart the sump to get to the bulkhead under the tank. I shoved a rod up in it and moved it around. Then I stuck my finger in there and I felt what I didn't want to feel!!! and D@MN SNAIL!!! The only way to get it out is to take the overflow apart but I can't do that till my friend gets off work at two to help me out. I have had the tank tore apart since 10:30. When I try to take the bulkhead off it just spins since I need someone/thing to hold the top part. UGHHHHHHHH
I thought about just taking some needle nose pliers and pulling the snail apart bit by bit til it fits through the bottom pipe, but then I figured I would let him live.
